The Nano carrier based coronary stent system is designed specifically using the

advanced principles of Nanotechnology.

Coating Design:
The Stent system is coated with variable sized nano carrier of encapsulated Sirolimus drug.

The system has two release programmed in coating. 

1. Burst release
The top layer release is burst release which is from the entire device (stent and balloon). This helps in addressing maximum lesion area and delivers in the target lesion with immediate effect. 

2 Programmed release
The slow programmed release of nano carrier into vessel wall. Excipient acts as drug carrier which retains drug for longer duration. Drug carrier has a hydrophilic head and two lipophilic tails which can deliver multiple drugs.  The nano carriers of drug are absorbed in vessel wall readily because of its size. This layer is completely released in 28 days and what remains is a bare metal stent
